HOW TO REACH HOTEL & APPARTEMENTS SONNENHOF A MARLENGO

Do you want to travel to South Tyrol in an environmentally friendly way by train or long-distance bus?  The connecting shuttle Südtirol Transfer takes you stress-free from the train or bus station directly to the Appartement-Hotel Sonnenhof.

HOW TO REACH US BY CAR

If you travel on the Brenner motorway: from Innsbruck, take the Brenner motorway and, after the Brenner Pass, continue to the Bolzano Sud exit; then take the Merano-Bolzano (MEBO) freeway up to the Marlengo/Maia Bassa exit, cross the bridge on the Adige river and turn right towards Marlengo (Marlengo town centre). Our hotel is located in the hotel area marked with orange. Once in the square before the church, turn immediately left and follow the “Sonnenhof” signs. The hotel is about 200 m away on the left.

If you are coming from the Brenner Pass through Vipiteno, Passo di Monte Giovo or Passo Rombo: take the Vipiteno exit and then the Passes Road to Merano. In Merano, follow the signs to Ippodromo/Stazione di Maia Bassa, cross the bridge on the Adige river, then turn right towards Marlengo (Marlengo town centre). Our hotel is located in the hotel area marked with orange. Once in the square before the church, turn immediately left and follow the “Sonnenhof” signs. The hotel is about 200 m away on the left.
NB: The Monte Giovo Pass is open from April to October/November, the Rombo Pass from June to September/October.

If you are coming from Passo Resia - Val Venosta: turn right at the Forst brewery and follow the road for about 3 km. Our hotel is located in the hotel area marked with orange. Once in the square before the church, about 600 m past Marlengo railway station, turn right and follow the “Sonnenhof” signs. The hotel is about 200 m away on the left.

If you are coming from the south (Verona - Trento): take the A22 Brenner motorway up to the Bolzano Sud exit, Then the Merano-Bolzano (MEBO) freeway up to the Marlengo/Maia Bassa exit, continue across the bridge on the Adige river, then turn right towards Marlengo (Marlengo town centre). Our hotel is located in the hotel area marked with orange. Once in the square before the church, turn immediately left and follow the “Sonnenhof” signs. The hotel is about 100 m away on the left.

Südtirol Transfer

Do you want to travel to South Tyrol in an environmentally friendly way by train or long-distance bus?  The connecting shuttle Südtirol Transfer takes you stress-free from the train or bus station directly to the Appartement-Hotel Sonnenhof.

If you arrive by train or bus in South Tyrol you can use the "Südtirol Transfer”, a region-wide connection shuttle for the last few kilometres to your accommodation. You can get to your holiday accommodation from the train stations in Bolzano/Bozen, Meran/Merano, Mals/Malles, Brixen/Bressanone, Bruneck/Brunico or Innichen/San Candido, as well as from the ‘Flixbus’ bus stops in Bolzano, Meran, Klausen/Chiusa, Vahrn/Varna or Sterzing/Vipiteno and after your holiday you will be brought back to the stop.

DIRECT RAIL CONNECTION BETWEEN INNSBRUCK AND MERANO

With the direct train betwenn Innsbruck and Merano you take less than 3 hours to arrive at Merano. From Monday to Saturday the train starts at 06.22 a.m. in Innsbruck, with arrival at 09.14 a.m. in Merano. The return trip starts at 19.46 in Merano, with arrival at 22.30 p.m. in Innsbruck.
